It was only a matter of time before I posted something about Ysolda Teague! Roisin is a pixie hood featured in Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts 2011, teasing her next book of patterns, Whimsical Little Knits 3! {No word yet on when it will be released}

I’m in love with the vintage-inspired shape, the delicate texture and her choice to use a variegated colorway. Pixie hoods aren’t at the top of my style list, but I will be casting this on.
Admittedly, I was on the fence about purchasing the entire Holiday Gifts issue, since I was only interested in Roisin. However, I bit the bullet and was pleasantly surprised! — Maybe it was the Cephalohedron pattern on page 028. (I have a soft spot for octopus)
