AboutSHE’s Embroidery Wall Art

I was tweeting with @VenusFueri yesterday about knit nooks and her newly acquired knit wall… at some point, I exclaimed, “Vive le Knit Wall!” to which @VenusFueri exclaimed, “Someone needs to put that on a poster!”
Then I suggested she maker her own, and then I got the idea to perhaps embroider the phrase, frame it and hang it! — I get carried away like that sometimes.

This conversation also got me thinking about embroidered wall art. Nothing like a little handmade visuals to spruce up the ole’ nook… or wall!

That’s when I stumbled on AboutSHE’s Etsy Shop… her pieces are gorgeous, modern and totally inspiring! The best part? Some pieces even incorporate knitting!

It also got me thinking…how easy it would be to whip up your very own! A favorite color yarn knit up in a lovely lace pattern… lay it over a white or contrasting fabric, then frame it in an embroidery hoop, and voila!
